A good textbook with the intriguing subtitle A History of Design Ideology for the Future. The content consists of a series of essays punctuated every six leaves by what could loosely be described as orange pamphlets. These bear large texts turned through ninety degrees. The typeface for the main text is a particularly agreeable and clear sans serif. This is a book founded in solid research and an excellent answer to the visual clangour so often found in works in this genre.
