What the panel liked most about this catalogue was the way the artist’s work is presented. Zooming in and out allows the spectator not only to take a more considered look at each of the objects created by Esther Tielemans but also to view them from a variety of angles. The wide variety of illustrations – large, small, double spreads and single pages – gives the book a filmic dynamic, with white margins where they are required and bleeds where possible.
However, not every panel member was taken with the combination of ochre endpapers and mint green blank pages, or the typography of the half-titles. In printing terms the colour reproduction is unusual in that the printing pigments are mixed with fluorescent inks, the reason being that Tielemans uses flurorescent colours in her work.
