ITS (IM)POSSIBLE FORMATION: The Book acts both as a storyteller and an actor. The cover plays with the reader, imitating a bureaucratic plastic sleeve, as if, in the process of investigation, storage, and archiving, the book lost its original cover and was later protected by the archivist. When opening, we see a strip of fabric, different in every copy of the publication, reminiscent of old and valuable textiles. The object’s lightness and softness demand careful handling, heightening the sense of fragility and significance. The combination of Risograph printing, yellowish textured paper, and medieval-inspired typography comes together successfully, giving this small book a cohesive character that thoughtfully reflects its content.
