Irregular is a series of cross-disciplinary, playful, graphic design experiments that are explored in the two issues Archer and Leaving Space by borrowing from existing conventions of type specimens and calendars. The student jury agreed that, despite it not being a book, it’s also not a regular magazine, and deserves its own category. Both issues are different in size and form, but they feel coherent through the choice of black and white printing. The designers successfully created a playground for various experiments, making sure the form doesn’t restrict but gives a direction for the coming issues.
