I Am Going to Be Your Last Teacher - A Workbook - Nick Aikens, Janine Armin, Mor Bashan, et al.

This publication by Yael Davids unfolded as a workbook along two different of her exhibitions. Following the charts of the artist that she made for Feldenkrais’ lesson, a book achieves a form of collage. A collage of her work, exercises, texts, ideas. The idea of moving, placing something in space is somehow very present because of this. There are different formats of the text, sometimes it is two columns, sometimes it is a line of caption, sometimes page is full with text, sometimes texts become blocks in conversation with each other and accompanying images. Another aspect of collaging that is visible in the book is that sometimes material is referenced, taken from something. The use of different colors of paper also makes the book very exciting and in general it feels like the book shares not only the ideas of Yael Davids but also her excitement about movement and body.
