Such a fun, important book! This documentation took me on a visual journey through thrift-stores, offering to look at such places from a different angle. I appreciated the quality of the photographs and the paper they decided to use for printing them on it. The pictures of the insides of the store were placed on a rather glossier kind of paper, which I think worked well and grabbed attention, both through tactility and feel. The same went for the portraits of the employees of the thrift stores. They were so wonderfully done! Clean, clear and very much real photographs of real people, doing real things. I appreciated the fact that the employees of the stores were merged in their work-surroundings, often in interesting whereabouts and arrangements. This caused me to smile wide at times, adding a sense of humor, which I find extremely charming. A book that is inviting to flip through, over and over again. I bet you will discover something new every time you look.
