The colours on the jacket of De Leeglopers are so delectable that you’d want to buy it for that reason alone. They set up the board neatly. True, the Spectrum typeface has a tendency to clog up when reversed out, but happily this has no impact on legibility. Then we have a nice contrast in the black cloth of the cover, setting the tone for the content. Format and binding style have already proved themselves and make sure you can hold the book comfortably and not let go before it’s finished. Reading something good on paper is such a pleasure. One minor quibble: there’s some variability in the weight with which the sections have been printed – rather sloppy for a book like this!
