Today the 30 Best Dutch Book Designs 2024 are being announced. An expert jury judged the books on their distinctiveness in terms of content, design, lithography, typography, material, printing and binding.
The jury consists of Anniek Meinders (Head Publications Van Gogh Museum), Lyanne Tonk (designer), Mirelle van Tulder (artist, designer, ontwerper), Jochem Öfner (management printer RaddraaierSSP) and Marc Lamain (design historian).
The student jury has selected 32 books, 13 books are the same as the expert jury.
Both selections will be exhibited at the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam this fall. At the same time the catalogue (NL/ENG) will be released as well.
