Criteria<\/strong><\/p>\n

1 To be eligible for selection a book must fulfil at least\u00a0two of the three<\/strong>\u00a0following requirements.<\/p>\n

The work, which need not be in Dutch, must have been:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. published by a publisher established in the Netherlands;<\/li>\n
  2. designed by a person holding Dutch nationality or resident in the Netherlands;<\/li>\n
  3. printed by a printing business and\/or lithographed by a lithography business and\/or bound by a binding business established in the Netherlands.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n

    2 On registering for the selection the registrant must donate to the Foundation two\u00a0copies<\/strong>\u00a0of each work; seven further copies must be provided if a work is selected as one of the Best Dutch Book Designs. These copies are stored in various archives and used for different exhibitions. For more details read the\u00a0Rules.<\/a><\/p>\n

    3\u00a0Entry fee:\u00a0<\/strong>the registrant pays \u20ac75 for the first title and \u20ac50 for each further title.\u00a0Students<\/strong> or first-year alumni<\/strong> of art schools and colleges can submit their entry for free.<\/p>\n
