{"id":23831,"date":"2022-11-25T07:24:41","date_gmt":"2022-11-25T06:24:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/debestverzorgdeboeken.nl\/?p=23831"},"modified":"2022-11-25T07:24:41","modified_gmt":"2022-11-25T06:24:41","slug":"registration-starts-december-5","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/debestverzorgdeboeken.nl\/en\/news\/registration-starts-december-5\/","title":{"rendered":"Registration starts December 5"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The next chance to be part of the competition will be the edition of 2022. <strong>At December 5 <\/strong>the registration shall be open again; then you can submit your book(s) by filling in an online form at this website.<\/p>\n<p>Are you interested in joining and do you want a reminder when the registration starts, please send an email to<a href=\"mailto:info@bestverzorgdeboeken.nl\"> info@debestverzorgdeboeken.nl<\/a>.<\/p>\n<div class=\"page_col inline vtop\">\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Criteria<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1 To be eligible for selection a book must fulfil at least\u00a0<strong>two of the three<\/strong>\u00a0following requirements.<\/p>\n<p>The work, which need not be in Dutch, must have been:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>published by a publisher established in the Netherlands;<\/li>\n<li>designed by a person holding Dutch nationality or resident in the Netherlands;<\/li>\n<li>printed by a printing business and\/or lithographed by a lithography business and\/or bound by a binding business established in the Netherlands.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<p>2 On registering for the selection the registrant must donate to the Foundation two\u00a0<strong>copies<\/strong> of each work; seven further copies must be provided if a work is selected as one of the Best Dutch Book Designs. These copies are stored in various archives and used for different exhibitions.
